You may choose the personal experience of an in-person visit or the convenience of telemedicine. Either way, you’ll receive personalized attention in a welcoming and confidential setting. Dr. Beard is dedicated to ensuring a smooth experience for you.
E-prescribing is available for all prescriptions, including stimulants.

Dr. Beard’s practice is private pay and does not bill insurance. HSA and FSA are welcome. A superbill with the information needed to get your out-of-network benefits is available. The private pay environment ensures the highest level of confidentiality.

May I use my insurance?
Dr. Beard does not bill insurance. A superbill is available with the information needed to obtain your out-of-network benefits. Your insurance company will mail your reimbursement directly to you. HSA and FSA are welcome.
What about Medicare?
Dr. Beard welcomes patients who have medicare. She is opted out of medicare which means you will pay out-of-pocket. Medicare will not provide reimbursement.
How long will I wait to be seen?
Usually, not at all! Dr. Beard values your time and does not double book visits.
Will I always get my full appointment time?
Yes! As long as you arrive or log in at the time of your visit.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my visit?
You are free to cancel or reschedule up to one full business day before your visit at no charge. Rescheduling and cancellations with less than one full business day are charged as visits.
May I bring my loved one to my visit with me?
Yes. Dr. Beard is happy to see your loved one along with you. She will also see you alone for part of your visit to give you time to speak in private, unless you prefer a couples therapy visit.
Does Dr. Beard do disability applications, service animal certifications, workers compensation, school accommodations, excusals from jury duty, clearance letters for medical procedures, FMLA forms or custody work?
No.
Does Dr. Beard prescribe Ketamine?
No.
